Sonia Prina (born 1975 in Magenta ) is an Italian opera singer who specializes in alto . She is best known for her Vivaldi and Handel interpretations.

Prina studied trumpet and singing at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan . After successfully completing both subjects, she devoted herself entirely to singing.
