The place, which was categorized as an arable estate according to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district , had a residential building and two agricultural buildings at that time. At that time there were 12 people living in the village, all of them of Catholic faith. The municipality and estate district statistics of the Rhine Province list the place in 1871 with one house and twelve residents. In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province in 1885, a house with four residents is given. In 1895 the district owned a house with nine inhabitants, in 1905 one house and eight inhabitants are given.
