Steinsiepen is a desert in the Gräfrath district of the Bergisch city ​​of Solingen .

Steinsiepen was located on the bank of the Steinbach directly on the municipal border with Wuppertal - Vohwinkel in a valley to the northeast of the Schieten estate . The Steinbach flows in its further course into the Wupper and forms the city boundary between Solingen and Wuppertal.

After the Mairien and later mayor's offices were founded at the beginning of the 19th century, Steinsiepen belonged to the Ketzberg community within the Gräfrath mayor's office . In 1832 Steinsiepen was still part of the Honschaft (Ketz-) Berg within the Gräfrath mayor. According to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district as a kl. A farm categorized place at that time had a house and an agricultural building. At that time, six residents lived in the village, all of whom were evangelicals.
