The constituency of Kaufbeuren is one of around 90 constituencies in elections to the Bavarian state parliament and the district meetings as well as in referendums . He belongs to the constituency of Swabia .

At least since the state elections in 2003 , it has included the urban district of Kaufbeuren , the communities of Germaringen , Irsee , Mauerstetten , Pforzen and Rieden in the Ostallgäu district, as well as the cities of Bad Wörishofen , Mindelheim and the communities of Amberg , Apfeltrach , Breitenbrunn , Dirlewang , Eppishausen , Ettringen , Kirchheim i .Sw. , Wald market , Oberrieden , Pfaffenhausen , Rammingen , Salgen , Stetten , Türkheim , Tussenhausen , Unteregg , Wiedergeltingen , Woringen in the Unterallgäu district . The other communities in the Ostallgäu district are in the district 711 and the other communities in the Unterallgäu district in the 712 district .
