The Memmingen constituency is one of around 90 electoral constituencies in elections to the Bavarian State Parliament and the district meetings as well as in referendums . He belongs to the constituency of Swabia .

At least since the state election in 2003 it includes the independent city of Memmingen , municipalities Old Town , book , Kellmünz adIller , Oberroth , Osterberg and sub-Roth of the Neu-Ulm and the municipalities Babenhausen , Gronenbach , Benningen , Böhen , Boos , Buxheim , Egg adGünz , Erkheim , Fellheim , Hawangen , Heimertingen , Holzgünz , Kammlach , Kettershausen , Kirchhaslach , Kronburg , Lachen , Lauben , Lautrach , Legau , Markt Rettenbach , Memmingerberg , Niederrieden , Oberschönegg , Ottobeuren , Pleß , Sontheim , Trunkelsberg , Ungerhausen , Westerheim , Winterrieden and Wolfertschwenden of the district of Unterallgäu . The other communities in the Neu-Ulm district are in district 713 and the other communities in Unterallgäu in district 708 .
