A branch of the Jakob Fugger line has from then on owned this rule with its own senior office. In 1632 the Swedes murdered the pastor during the Thirty Years' War . As a result of the war, Boos died out except for one farm that was still being used. In 1777 the last Fugger of the Booser line died, Boos then switched to the Fugger line to Babenhausen . With the Rheinbund act 1806 the place came to Bavaria . In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria, today's municipality was created with the municipal edict of 1818 . Blazon : “Divided by red and blue; A golden heraldic lily superimposed on the whole. "

For centuries, the past of the parish was determined by feudal lords. In the earliest times, this was the princes of Kempten, which gave the goods in Boos to various outstanding families, such as the Memmingen patricians Besserer, Edlinstett and Stebenhaber. In 1551 Boos was sold to Anton Fugger and in 1552, in addition to the property, he was also given the authority of the village (upper fiefdom) as a free property from the Kempter Princely Monastery. In the coat of arms of the municipality, the rulership rights of the prince monastery are expressed by the shield division red - blue; the golden lily is borrowed from the Fugger coat of arms.

The Munich-based Emil Werz took on the design and design of the coat of arms .
