Blazon : "Divided by blue and silver with a shield, in it in silver on a green three-mountain, which is covered with a silver wave bar, a striding red lion."
The red lion on the green Dreiberg is considered the coat of arms of the Lords of Mindelberg, who owned the Mindelheim estate until 1363. In the coat of arms of the Electorate of Bavaria from 1804, the rule of Mindelheim is symbolized by this coat of arms. Since the early Middle Ages, Oberrieden shared the fortunes of this rule, which was acquired by the Bavarian rulers in 1616. The tinging silver and blue refers to this historical fact. The wave bar symbolizes the river Kammel .
The coat of arms was designed by the Freising heraldist Theodor Goerge.
