Sundance Film Festival / Grand Jury Prize - Best Fiction
With the Grand Jury Prize ( Grand Jury Prize: Dramatic ) is the annually organized Sundance Film Festival the best American feature film awards (including co-productions) in competition. This makes it the most important award of the film festival, alongside the Grand Jury Prize for Documentary Films .
The prize has been awarded since the first edition of the film festival in 1984. An annually changing, five-member jury decides on the award. d. Usually consists of US filmmakers. So far, no director has won the award more than once.
