Tim Kalkhof

Tim Kalkhof (born December 12, 1987 in Heidelberg ) is a German actor .

Life

Kalkhof completed his acting training at the Academy for Performing Arts in Baden-Württemberg from 2009 to 2012 . As part of his training, he worked in various theater performances, including a. in productions by Luk Perceval , with. In 2011 he appeared at the Heidelberg Theater in the theater project Expedition and Psychiatry , directed by Nis-Momme Stockmann .

He began his film career in 2010 with diploma and graduation films from graduates of the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy . He made his television debut in 2012 under the direction of Kai Wessel in the television film Lena Fauch and the shooter's daughter . In the movie All Inclusive (2014) by Doris Dörrie he had a small role as Luis.

The US film magazine Variety listed Kalkhof among the artists for the award "10 Europeans to watch 2018" for its presentation.

In the ZDFneo -Sitcom Nix Festes (TV premiere: February / March 2018) Tim Kalkhof plays alongside Josefine Preuss , Marie Rathscheck and Sebastian Fräsdorf one of the main roles as the gay chef "Basti" Hülz, who works with a start-up company for Wants to make dog biscuits independently.
