Titus Welliver (born March 12, 1961 in New Haven , Connecticut ) is an American actor .

life and career

Titus Welliver is the son of the fashion illustrator Norma Cripps and the landscape painter Neil Welliver (1929–2005). In the early 1980s he studied acting at New York University.

Titus Welliver had his first paid role as an actor in the 1990 film Navy Seals . This was followed by casts for the films The True Bosses (1991) and The Doors (1991) numerous other roles in film and television productions followed. He has guest and supporting roles in numerous series, including The X Files - The FBI's Uncanny Cases (1993), Nash Bridges (1997) and Lost (2009/2010).

In addition to his acting work in film and television, he is present on the theater stage, among others with Riff, Raff, American Buffalo and Shakespeare's Henry IV.

Welliver has been married to fashion consultant Jose Stemkens for the fourth time since April 2014. His second marriage resulted in two sons (* 1999, * 2002). His third marriage to his wife, the film producer Elizabeth W. Alexander , who died in 2012, gave birth to a daughter (* 2006).
