Tom Kreß
Tom Kreß , also Tom Kress, Thomas Kreß or Thomas Kress, (born September 10, 1967 in Füssen , Allgäu ) is a German actor .
Life
Tom Kreß was born under the real name of Thomas Kreß. From 1991 to 1994 he trained as an actor at the Zinner Studio in Munich . He had his first theater engagements at the Münchner Volkskomödie (1993), at the Isartaler Volkstheater (1994), at the Iberl-Bühne in Munich-Solln (1995) and in 1996 at the cabaret stage "Drehleier" in Munich. He then played different roles in various touring theaters, from adolescent lovers to comedians. He had engagements at the Chiemgauer Volkstheater (inter alia in 1996 as Jonny Süßbauer, the "Heroin-Jonny", in The Bavarian Miss Marple with Amsi Kern , Egon Biscan and Traudl Oberhorner as partners and in 2005 as a servant Sepp Klein in Scandal in Pullding with Bernd Helfrich and Marianne Rappenglück as partners), at the Tegernseer Volkstheater (2002/2003), at the Theater Much Ado About Nothing (2000/2003) and again at the Iberl stage (2003/2004 and 2007/2008).
In 2012 he played Peter, the cousin of the main male character Johannes Elias Alder, in a stage version of the novel Schlafes Bruder at the Garmisch-Partenkirchen cultural summer . In 2013 he appeared as Count Blanquez at the Horváth Days in Murnau in a stage version of the novel The eternal philistine ; Directed by Georg Büttel . In 2014 he took on the roles of Bräuknecht Fassl / painter Flartz in Lumpazivagabundus at the Garmischer Kultursommer ; Georg Büttel also directed. In 2014 he played the street sweeper Beppo in a stage version of Momo at the opera festival at Gut Immling . In October 2014 he played the role of father Erwin in the play Escape by Geretsried author Günter Wagner at the Geretsried Cultural Autumn , the music was composed by Konstantin Wecker .
Kreß also appeared as a cabaret artist in various cabaret programs, including a. with “Radikal Alt” (tour; 2010) and in his solo cabaret “G'schphia” (2015–2017) Director: Georg Büttel.
In addition to his theater engagements, Kreß repeatedly worked, mostly as a supporting actor, also for film and television. He was often used in series with a South German , Upper Bavarian or Austrian background. He had episode roles a. a. in the television series and television series Der Bulle von Tölz (2000), Father Against Will (2002), Four Women and One Death (2010), Munich 7 (2012; as a supplier and fruit dealer Quirin Huber), Murder in the best company , The family detective ( 2014), SOKO 5113 (2014) and cheerful to fatal: Hubert and Staller (2015; as district chimney sweep Bruno Merkling).
In the ARD television series Murder in the best company , he was seen at the side of Fritz Wepper , from 2015 on several times as investigator Meier. In September 2015 he was seen in the ZDF television series Die Rosenheim-Cops in a leading role in the episode; he played the suspected craftsman and roller shutter builder Siegmund Reuter. In the ZDF television series Lena Lorenz he has been seen in a supporting role in several films in the series since 2016; he plays the villager Toni Polloch. (Director: Hans Steinbichler ) was broadcast on arte for the first time, dealing with the judicial scandal surrounding Gustl Mollath , which Jan Josef Liefers portrays as Wastl Kronach. Kreß played his psychiatric nurse Graf.
Kreß lives in Bernau am Chiemsee ; mountaineering is one of his hobbies .
