Tom McCleist

Thomas "Tom" McCelpers (born May 26, 1949 in New York City ) is an American actor, who was best known for his role as Ike in the television series A Terribly Nice Family .

Career

McCleist made his film debut at the age of 33 in the musical comedy Splitz .

This was followed by numerous guest and supporting roles in television series such as Murphy Brown , A Terribly Nice Family , Crossing Jordan - Pathologist with Profile , New York Cops - NYPD Blue , Roswell , Angel - Hunter of Darkness , Matlock , Jake and McCabe - Through Thick and Thin , Diagnosis: Murder and Providence . In the episode Q - undesirable (English Q-Less ) of the science fiction television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine , he played the character of Kolos.

He also starred in films such as Midnight Run - Five Days to Midnight (1988), Twins - Twins (1988) opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito and in Grand Theft Parsons (2003). He portrayed a lawyer in Clint Eastwood's Oscar- winning film Million Dollar Baby in 2004.

In addition to his work in film and television, McCracht is a stage actor . He played Miltenberger in Rainer Werner Fassbinder's Bremer Freiheit , Sylvestro in The Cheats of Scapin (based on Scapin's pranks ), Victor Spassov in David Edgar's The Shape of the Table , in William Shakespeare's As You Like It and the character of Alex Priest in Heisenberg . In addition, he organized the Tom McCoin Christmastime Theatrical Extravaganza .
