Tony Tran (* 1987 or 1988 ) is a Vietnamese poker player . He is two-time champions of the World Poker Tour .

Personal

Tran works as a real estate investor. He lives in Philadelphia .

Poker career

Tran has been taking part in renowned live tournaments since 2011 .

In October 2012 won Tran at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City , a tournament variant No Limit Hold'em and secured a prize money of nearly 60,000 US dollars . At the beginning of July 2015 he was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and finished 85th in the Main Event, worth almost 70,000 US dollars. At the Main Event of the World Poker Tour (WPT) in Jacksonville in mid-October 2018, Tran beat 355 other players and received the grand prize of more than 340,000 US dollars. In March 2020, he won the WPT Main Event in Lincoln and secured his second WPT title as well as prize money of around $ 280,000.

In total, Tran has earned more than $ 1 million in poker playing live tournaments.
