Ruberto has been taking part in renowned live tournaments since 2006 .

In mid-June 2007 Ruberto was the first time in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas successful and died in a tournament variant No-Limit Hold'em in the money. At an event at the Fall Poker Open Championship in Hollywood , Florida , in November 2010, he took second place, worth around USD 275,000 . In mid-June 2011 Ruberto reached his first WSOP final table and finished the tournament in sixth, for which he received almost $ 85,000. In mid-November 2011 he prevailed against 392 other players at the main event of the World Poker Tour (WPT) in Orange Park and secured a prize money of around 325,000 US dollars. At the 2014 WSOP , Ruberto sat at a final table and ended up in third place, worth $ 200,000. He then reached the sixth day of the tournament in the main event of the tournament series and was eliminated there in 68th place, endowed with more than 100,000 US dollars. At the end of April 2018 Ruberto finished third at the main event of the partypoker Millions North America in Kahnawake and received the highest prize money of his poker career of one million Canadian dollars . In early August 2018, he finished fourth in the WPT main event in Durant for more than $ 165,000. A month later, Ruberto won the WPT Main Event in Hanover and secured his second WPT title and the grand prize of just under $ 350,000.
