Trockenhang im Lötal is a nature reserve in the Boxberg district of Schweigern in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg .

history

By regulation of the regional council of Stuttgart on the nature reserve Trockenhang im Lötal of November 6, 1979, a reserve of 3.3 hectares was designated.

Protection purpose

"The protective purpose is the preservation and maintenance of a dry slope at the mouth of a small dry valley in the Umpfertal as a habitat for numerous animal and plant species that are threatened by the very existence of which occur there in numerous forms due to the special location characteristics of the climate, soil and water balance" ( LUBW ).
