Oberrimbacher Erdfälle is a nature reserve on the boundaries of the Creglingen district of Oberrimbach and the Niederstetten district of Wildentierbach in the Main-Tauber district and the Schrozberg district of Spielbach in the Schwäbisch Hall district in Baden-Württemberg .

history

By regulation of the regional council of Stuttgart on the nature reserve Oberrimbacher sinkholes of November 6, 1985 a reserve with 71.2 hectares was designated.

Protection purpose

"The purpose of protection is the preservation of the historically valuable sinkholes ( sinkholes ) and wetlands" ( LUBW ).

Flora and fauna

It is a geologically significant area with over 100 sinkholes.
