Holzberg is a nature reserve in the districts of Creglinger neighborhoods Finsterlohr and Archshofen in Main-Tauber-Kreis in Baden-Wuerttemberg .

history

By regulation of the regional council of Stuttgart on the nature reserve Holzberg from November 2nd, 1981 a protected area with 25 hectares was designated.

Protection purpose

"The protection purpose is the preservation of a near-natural hillside forest and meadow area in the Taubertal as a retreat and regeneration area for a diverse flora and rare and threatened fauna" ( LUBW ).
