UK Open Qualifiers 2014
The UK Open Qualifiers 2014 were a series of qualifying tournaments in darts. They consisted of six qualifying rounds in the run-up to the UK Open 2014 , which were held over two weekends. The results there were recorded in a separate ranking list, the UK Open Order of Merit . The best of this ranking after the eight tournaments were automatically qualified for the UK Open in early March 2014.
The UK Open Qualifiers were also part of the PDC Pro Tour 2014 .
Importance of qualifying tournaments
In each of the six qualifiers, the players received prize money based on their results, which were then used in the UK Open rankings. At the end of the six qualifiers there was a ranking of all players, after which the participants and the seeding list for the final UK Open were determined.
Prize money
The prize money increased by £ 15,400 compared to the previous year. It was distributed as follows:
