During the lockout in the 2004/05 NHL season , Václav Nedorost returned to his homeland and ran for Bílí Tygři Liberec , the following season he did not play a single game due to an injury. After his injury he did not return to the NHL, but stayed in the Czech extra league and returned in the 2006/07 season for one season to HC České Budějovice , where he had already played in his youth.
