The most form scattered houses left the Vöckla - along the Salzburg provincial border and Nössenbach - the village Schwaigern (about 10 houses, the village that occur during Pöndorf), and the right local situation Reittern-Scattered houses of the village Reittern . History and infrastructure
Schwaigern - the place name comes from the Middle High German sweige 'farm for cattle farming', a type of settlement that emerged in the High Middle Ages (12th / 13th centuries) - is an old location that GM Vischer noted on a map as early as 1667, the author sees here the fons Vogglae ('source of the Vöckla', the upper Vöckla is called Spentzl river ). Until 1787 this was the border region between Austria and Bavaria , and until 1803 it became the sovereign archbishopric of Salzburg . At the lower Nössenbach ran the border of the regional courts Frankenburg ( Hausruck area ) and Kogl ( Attergau with southern Attersee, seat in the castle of St. Georgen ). The Salzburg regional court on the Höchfeld (Straßwalchener area) reached in cabinet tree via the Vöckla, an old customs station, which marks the southern end of Schwaigern. The parcel Vöcklaaufwärts near Schwend and Gschwend only came to Weißenkirchen with a border reform in 1823 between Austria above the Enns and the then part of the Salzachkreis .
In the Vöcklatal the L1281 Vöcklatalstraße runs over the Haslau to Zell am Moos . After Weißenkirchen there is only a bad transport connection via side roads.
