WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs
WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs is a major WWE event . It has been held annually in December since 2009 and broadcast live as a pay-per-view . In 2017, the event took place for the first time in October. At least one of the scheduled matches is scheduled as a table , ladder , chair or TLC match .
history
Originally, the eponymous Matchart when was SummerSlam 2000 introduced by the WWE to a feud for the WWF Team Champion title tag between the tag team The Dudley Boyz , The Hardy Boyz and Edge & Christian continue . After a few TLC matches, the pay-per-view WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs was introduced as a replacement for Armageddon after a fan vote on wwe.com .
At the 2014 event, the WWE hosted a "Stairs Match" for the first time, in which the ring stairs could be used as legitimate weapons. Erick Rowan competed against Big Show in this type of match .
