The world heritage in Egypt (as of 2016) includes seven UNESCO world heritage sites , including six world cultural heritage sites and one world natural heritage site. Egypt ratified the World Heritage Convention in 1974, and the first World Heritage site was added to the World Heritage List in 1979. The last world heritage site in Egypt to date was registered in 2005, and one site is on the Red List of World Heritage in Danger .
