The Winthrop Shore Drive is a 1899 erected, by landscape architect Charles Eliot in collaboration with the architectural firm of Olmsted Brothers planned historical Parkway in Winthrop in the state of Massachusetts of the United States . Among other things, it leads to Winthrop Beach .
The street was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a Historic District in 2004 . It is administered by the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) and is part of the Metropolitan Park System of Greater Boston .
