The area Dorchester Shores Reservation is a 16.7 ha large State Park in Suffolk County in the state of Massachusetts of the United States . The park is administered by the Department of Conservation and Recreation and is part of the Metropolitan Park System of Greater Boston . The area consists of three parts and lies on the eastern border of the Boston borough of Dorchester .

The sanctuary is open daily from sunrise to sunset and includes two beaches, Malibu Beach and Tenean Beach, as well as Victory Road Park, a park along the extended confluence of the Neponset River into Boston Harbor .
Recreational and leisure activities
The park has a bathhouse , picnic areas , sports fields, and opportunities for fishing and swimming .
