The Austrian women's soccer championship in 1980/81 was the ninth championship in Austrian women's soccer after the 35-year break between 1938 and 1972. It consisted of the twelfth edition of a top division ( women's league east - 1st level ) and a second edition of a second division ( Women's League East 2nd level ) and was organized by the Vienna Football Association .

Everyone played against each other four times in a total of 20 rounds. A win was rewarded with two points, a draw with one point.

Season course

As in the previous year, the league consisted of six clubs. Instead of the LUV Graz , Union Kleinmünchen was represented this season . Champion was USC Landhaus , which won its fourth title. The 1. DFC Leoben did not have to relegate despite their last league place.

    Everyone played against everyone twice in a total of 16 rounds. A win was rewarded with two points, a draw with one point.

    Season course

    The league was made up of nine clubs compared to the previous year, when seven clubs participated. ASV Unterwaltersdorf and USC Halbturn were not there this year . With the SC Lanzenkirchen , the 1. SC Sollenau , the SV Baden and SV Großfeldsiedlung four new clubs were represented. DSC Alland-Brunn became the champion and will be represented at the highest level next season.
