The Austrian Football Women's Championship 1984/85 was the 13th championship in the Austrian women's football after the 35-year gap between 1938 and 1972. It consisted of the 16th edition of a top division ( Women's League ) and has been approved by the Austrian Football Association organized . The sixth edition of the second highest division ( women's league east ) was organized by the Vienna Football Association.

Everyone played against everyone twice in a total of 14 rounds. A win was rewarded with two points, a draw with one point.

Season course

The league consisted of eight clubs compared to the previous year, in which nine teams participated. The reigning champions SV Aspern Herzer and Tyrolia Halbturn were not represented . ESV Stadlau / Kaisermühlen was new to the league . Champion was the DFC Ostbahn XI , which won its first title.
