1st Yugoslav Football League 1956/57

The 1st Yugoslav Football League 1957/58 was the 29th season of the highest Yugoslav division in men's football . It began on August 10, 1957 and ended on April 27, 1958 because of the upcoming World Cup in Sweden .

Dinamo Zagreb became Yugoslav champions for the eighth time and took part in the European Cup.

mode

The 14 teams played against each other twice on a total of 26 match days, divided into a first and a second round. In the following season, the league was reduced to twelve teams. Therefore, the last two clubs relegated directly, the teams in positions 11 and 12 also had to relegate after losing.
