The 1st Yugoslav Football League 1958/59 was the 30th season of the highest Yugoslav division in men's football . It began on August 31, 1958 and ended on June 22, 1959.

The FK Red Star Belgrade was Yugoslav champion for the fifth time and took part in the European Cup. For the first time a team from Yugoslavia managed to win the double of the championship and the cup.
