The 1st Yugoslav Football League 1962/63 was the 34th season of the highest Yugoslav division in men's football . It began on August 19, 1962 and ended on June 9, 1963.

Defending champion FK Partizan Belgrade became Yugoslav champions for the fifth time.

mode

The league was increased by two places. The 14 teams played against each other twice on a total of 26 match days, divided into a first and a second round. The last two teams were relegated.
