The championship and promotion to the Bundesliga were secured by Tennis Borussia Berlin in the north and 1. FC Saarbrücken in the south . Before the start of the season, the women's soccer department of TuS Köln rrh. closed to Bayer 04 Leverkusen over.

Relegation relegation
In the relegation games, the third-last of the two seasons met. After a draw in the first leg, FV Löchgau were able to celebrate relegation with a 1-0 win in Mellendorf.
