1 The result of the game Botew Wraza against FK Sliven on matchday 28 (2: 1) was changed to 0: 3 at the end of the season after it was complained that Botew used an unauthorized player. As a result, FK Sliven moved up from seventh to third place in the table and thus took part in the UEFA Cup . Almost 16 years later, in the spring of 2000, this decision was overturned by the Bulgarian Football Association and the result of 2: 1 and the resulting table were restored.
