Acquaviva delle Fonti is a southern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 20,446 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the metropolitan city of Bari in Apulia . The place is about 25 kilometers south of Bari .

history

The place grew around the Norman fortress. In the 12th century the concattedrale di Sant'Eustachio was built, which today serves as the co-cathedral of the diocese.

The A14 autostrada , which comes from Bari to Taranto , runs through the municipality . The station is on the Bari – Taranto railway line .
