Beginnings in Brazil

Allan started his career in 2007 in the junior division of the Madureira EC in Rio de Janeiro . There he caught the attention of the higher-class playing CR Vasco da Gama , who Allan loaned in 2008. The following year he made his professional debut at the age of seventeen. In the championship round he was substituted on in the Série B - game away against Atlético Goianiense after the half-time break for Amaral . At the end of the season Allan was able to celebrate the championship and promotion to the Série A with Vasco . He played a total of 13 appearances this season. In the 2010 season Allan remained on loan with Vasco and played his first appearance in the Série A on June 6, 2010. On the 7th match day of the season, Allan was in the starting line-up in the 4-0 defeat at Santos .

In early 2011 Madureira sold the player to Deportivo Maldonado in Uruguay , a club from the Uruguayan second division . Maldonado was acquired by a group of Brazilian investors in 2009 and is suspected of serving as a tax-saving model. Players are bought by the club, but are never used there, but are loaned out or sold on. Lower tax rates are then due in Uruguay on these transactions than in Brazil. Allan was not used at the club, rather he remained on loan from Vasco . At Vasco, Allan made his first appearance at an international club level in 2011. In the second round of the Copa Sudamericana 2011 , Vasco met Palmeiras São Paulo in the second leg on August 26, 2011 . The game ended 3-1 for Palmeiras. After Vasco won the first leg 2-0, his club went one round on the away goals rule . In the competition, Allan then scored his first goal as a professional. In the second leg of the second leg on October 26, 2011 against Club Aurora from Bolivia , he scored the final goal in the 92nd minute to make it 8-3. Only in the semifinals his club was eliminated by CF Universidad de Chile . With Vasco, Allan was able to win his first national title in the 2011 Copa do Brasil . Allan also started in 2012 on loan from Vasco in the state championship in Rio de Janeiro .

Italy

In July 2012, Allan was sold by Deportivo Maldonado to Granada CF, which immediately loaned him to Udinese Calcio . In the Italian Serie A , Allan played his first game on matchday five of the 2012/13 season . On September 26, 2012 Udinese played for Turin FC . Two years later, for the 2014/15 season , Allan was permanently taken over by Granada.

After Arsenal FC had expressed interest in April 2015 and Chelsea FC in June , Allan moved to league rivals SSC Napoli for the 2015/16 season . The contract had a term of four years. In March 2018, it was announced that Allan had extended his contract with Naples until 2023.

National team

In 2011 Allan was part of the team that won the U-20 World Cup.

Allan was chosen by national coach Tite for two friendly matches for the squad for the friendly matches on November 16 against Uruguay on November 16 and against Cameroon four days later in London . In the course of his second appointment to friendly matches in November 2018, Allan made his first international appearance. On November 16, 2018, Renato Augusto came on in the 59th minute of the game against the Uruguayan team .
