Arno Wohlfahrter

Arno Wohlfahrter (born November 27, 1964 in Klagenfurt ) is a former Austrian cyclist .

Arno Wohlfahrter has been Austrian youth champion several times. In 1987 he became Austrian road champion. In the same year he took third place in the Rhineland-Palatinate Tour .

From 1990, Wohlfahrter worked as a freelance journalist and photographer. He then became editor-in-chief of the “Bike Fun” magazine. In 2006 he was nominated for the "Business Athlete Award". Today he is head of branch sales at a bank.

On July 18, 2016, Arno Wohlfahrter was appointed the new General Director of Metro Cash & Carry Austria.
