Bernhard Rassinger

Bernhard Rassinger (born August 30, 1963 in St. Pölten ) is a former Austrian cyclist and sports director.

In 1985 Bernhard Rassinger became Austrian state champion in road racing. He twice won stages in the Tour of Austria .

At the UCI Road World Championships in 1987 in Villach , Rassinger won the bronze medal in the team time trial together with Helmut Wechselberger , Johann Lienhart and Mario Traxl . In 1989 he drove as a professional in the German team in Stuttgart .

After retiring from active cycling, Bernhard Rassinger worked for many years as the sporting director of the Elk Haus cycling team until the team was dissolved at the end of 2009. However, he continues to work for the company as a construction consultant.
