Matthias Krizek (born September 29, 1988 in Vienna ) is an Austrian cyclist .

Krizek became Austrian national road racing champion in 2011 and won his first race on the international calendar in 2012 with a stage of the Giro Ciclistico d'Italia . In 2013 and 2014 he drove for the UCI ProTeam Cannondale , for which he contested his only Grand Tour with the Vuelta a España in 2014 , which he finished in 125th. He was recognized as the most combative driver on the 12th stage of the. In 2017 he won a stage of the Flèche du Sud . His most important success to date was the overall victory of the Rhône-Alpes Isère Tour 2019.
