Csenar, who competed for the ARBÖ Neunkirchen club and later for the RC Peugeot , emerged for the first time with a stage win at the Tour of Yugoslavia in 1962. He won the Austrian state championship in 1964 and 1967. In 1965 he was able to win the most important race in Austria Vienna-Rabenstein-Gresten-Wien (later Uniqua Classic ) after the Tour of Austria . He also won a stage in the domestic tour of the country, and in the years that followed he was able to win more stages in the tour of Austria . A year later he was fourth on the tour. He started the International Peace Tour in 1962, but retired. He was able to book sixteen participations in the Tour of Austria, fourteen times he finished and four stages he was able to win. He was also successful in Germany, where he competed in many races. In 1967 he won the traditional Cologne-Schuld-Frechen race . In 1979 he ended his career.
