Aulnay is located in the Champagne sèche region , around 30 kilometers northeast of Troyes . Aulnay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Jasseines in the north, Donnement in the north-east, Braux in the east, Chalette-sur-Voire in the south, Magnicourt in the west and south-west, and Brillecourt in the west and north-west.
