Yèvres-le-Petit is a French commune with 57 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aube department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality is part of the Bar-sur-Aube arrondissement and the Lacs de Champagne municipality . The New inhabitants are called Yevrois .
In 1793 the community was still called Yevres , only officially Yèvres-le-Petit since 1919 .
geography
Yèvres-le-Petit is located on the upper reaches of the Petit Ravet , one of the two source rivers of the Ravet , which flows into the Auzon after 14 kilometers . It is one of the few rivers in the Lousy Champagne landscape . Yèvres-le-Petit is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pars-lès-Chavanges in the north, Courcelles-sur-Voire in the east, Rosnay-l'Hôpital in the south and Braux in the west.

Economy and Infrastructure
In the commune of Yèvres-le-Petit there are twelve farms (mainly cereal growing).
The D 396 from Vitry-le-François to Brienne-le-Château runs through the municipality of Yèvres-le-Petit . Close to the municipality of Arcis-sur-Aube , 22 kilometers to the west, there is a connection to the A 26 autoroute from Calais to Troyes . In the small town of Brienne-le-Château, ten kilometers away, the closest train station is on the Troyes – Brienne-le-Château railway line .
