Juzanvigny is a French commune with 127 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aube department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality is part of the Bar-sur-Aube arrondissement and the Vendeuvre-Soulaines municipal association founded in 2016 . The inhabitants are called Vadragons .
geography
Juzanvigny is located about 40 kilometers east-northeast of Troyes on the upper reaches of the Brevonne , a tributary of the Voire in an area of southern Champagne that is very rich in forests and lakes . The area is unsuitable for viticulture and so you will only find vines of the Côte de l'Aube wine-growing region around 20 kilometers southwest near Bar-sur- Aube . In the municipality of Juzanvigny are the lakes Étang de la Renarde and Étang du Grand Verdat (partially). The Lac du Der-Chantecoq, the largest reservoir in France, is located 20 kilometers northeast of Juzanvigny. Juzanvigny is surrounded by the neighboring communities Maizières-lès-Brienne in the north, Épothémont in the east, Crespy-le-Neuf in the south and Brienne-le-Château in the west.
