Bø ( North Sami : Bievát ) is a municipality in the Norwegian province of Nordland . The municipality is sometimes referred to as the pearl of Vesterålen and is located in the west of Langøya island . The center of the municipality is Straume with around 280 inhabitants.

Attractions
- The Man from the Sea - A sculpture in the Nordland sculpture landscape. The sculpture stands on a hill near Vinjesjøen and is a tribute to the sea, from which the people in the area have lived for centuries.
- Bird Cliffs - There are a large number of bird cliffs throughout the municipality. The most common puffins , guillemots , razorbills and kittiwakes can be seen.
- Tombs at Føre - Well-preserved skeletons and grave goods were discovered at this tomb. The graves date from AD 300.
