Evenes ( Sami : Evenášši ) is a municipality in the northern Norwegian province ( Fylke ) Nordland .

Evenes lies on the north bank of the Ofotfjord and borders the municipalities of Skånland in the north, Narvik in the east and Tjeldsund in the west. The administrative center is Bogen i Ofoten at the north end of Bogenbucht . Other villages and settlements in the municipality are Evenes , Liland , Tårstad and Dragvik.

The Harstad / Narvik Airport (. Norw Harstad / Narvik lufthavn, Evenes) (IATA: EVE, ICAO: ENEV) is located in the forest in the west of the county, north of the settlement Evenes.
