Dønna is a municipality in Helgeland in the north Norwegian Fylke Nordland . The administrative center is Solfjellsjøen.

Dønna borders on the municipalities of Alstahaug , Herøy , Leirfjord , Lurøy and Nesna .

The largest islands in the municipality are Dønna (135 km²), Løkta (17.4 km²), Vandve (5.8 km²) and Slapøya.
