The Greffener Mark quarry pond is a 41.9 hectare nature reserve north of Greffen , a district in the East Westphalian Harsewinkel in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany , and was placed under protection on February 24, 1997. The official key number is GT-029.

The nature reserve comprises two bodies of water that were created by excavations. The eastern water has already been recultivated and surrounded by forest - mostly alder . At the edge of the water there is floating leaf and underwater vegetation. At the southern edge is a border of reed beds . In the north of the lake there are also pioneer trees . In the southwest there is a sandy grassland . A mixed pine forest with two small lakes is separated by the Tatenhauser Weg .

Endangered plant species such as the brown schnabelried or the multi-stemmed swamp rush can be found in the dry bank areas of the lakes . The bell heather , the common swamp bear moss and the mean sundew also find a habitat here. The little grebe, little ringed plover , common sandpiper and wood sandpiper can still be found in the nature reserve .
