European basketball championship 2013 / qualification

This page describes the qualification for the 2013 European Men's Basketball Championship .

mode

A total of 24 teams took part in EuroBasket 2013 and qualified for the tournament in different ways.

Slovenia was automatically eligible to participate as host; Furthermore, the three European participants in the 2012 Olympic Games and the four European participants in the pre-Olympic qualification tournament qualified directly for the EuroBasket 2013. The other 16 participants were determined through qualifying games in summer 2012.

From August 15 to September 11, 2012, the other 16 participants were determined. The draw resulted in the following group allocation:
