Bernhards is a district of the East Hessian city ​​of Fulda and is located about five kilometers northeast of the city center.

In the Turkish tax register of the abbey of Fulda from 1605 the place is mentioned under the name Bernnhart with 21 families.

On August 1, 1972, the previously independent municipality of Bernhard was incorporated into the city of Fulda as part of the regional reform in Hesse by state law.
