The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Fermo ( lat. : Archidioecesis Firmana , Ital. : Arcidiocesi di Fermo ) is in Italy located Archdiocese of the Roman Catholic Church based in Fermo .

The territory of the Archdiocese of the Marche region includes all 39 municipalities in the Fermo province , 13 municipalities in the Macerata province and six municipalities in the Ascoli Piceno province .

The diocese of Fermo was established in the 3rd century and on May 24th 1589 by Pope Sixtus V raised to the metropolitan archbishopric.
