The Border City Bandits were an American ice hockey team from Texarkana , Texas . The team played in the Central Hockey League (CHL) in the 2000/01 season .
history
The Border City Bandits were founded in 2000 as a franchise of the CHL. In the 2000/01 season, in which they first took part in the game operation of the CHL, they won only eleven of their 51 games and achieved a total of 26 points. The change of coach after 41 match days - Daniel Shank replaced Peter South - did not have a positive effect on the results. After several violations of the CHL statutes, the franchise was excluded from ongoing gaming on February 20, 2001 and dissolved after the season.
