history

Indianapolis Ice was relocated to Topeka, Kansas, in 2004 and renamed Topeka Tarantulas. In the only season of their existence, the 2004/05 season, the team finished fourth and thus last place in the Northwest Division, which they clearly missed the playoffs for the Miron Cup . Under their coach, the Canadian Joe Coombs , they won only 16 of their 60 games and got a total of 37 points. In the absence of success, the game was then discontinued by those responsible and the franchise was dissolved after just one year.
