The St. Charles Chill were an American ice hockey franchise from Saint Charles , Missouri , that played in the Central Hockey League , a North American minor league . The team played its home games in the 9,643-seat Family Arena .

history

After the Laredo Bucks stopped playing after the 2011/12 season , the team was sold and relocated to Saint Charles , Missouri , where it took part in the Central Hockey League's league operations in the 2013/14 season under the name of St. Charles Chill . Jamie Rivers , a former NHL player, has been named the team's head coach.

Chill's cooperation partners were the St. Louis Blues (NHL) and Chicago Wolves ( AHL ). In their only season, the team finished tenth and last in the league with just eleven wins in 66 games. The home games were attended by an average of 2,585 spectators. After the 2013/14 season, both the team and the Central Hockey League stopped playing.
